A few pricing questions

Who pays the processing fee?

The tenant pays it at checkout, so the landlord always receives the full rent. Tenants pay the payment processing cost plus a flat $2.00 RentMerchant fee on the Free plan, on cards and bank transfers alike. That flat fee is waived on Pro. You can see the exact amount before anyone pays; the full breakdown is on our fee schedule.

Is the Free plan really free?

Yes, free for the landlord. Collect rent on up to three properties at no cost, with no percentage ever taken from the rent. Tenants pay a small payment fee at checkout, and the RentMerchant part of it is waived on Pro for both cards and bank transfers.

What does Pro add?

Pro lifts the three-property limit, so you can manage unlimited properties and units with no per-door fees. The full toolkit (online rent, applications, lease e-sign, owner portal, reports) is included on every plan.

Can I cancel Pro?

Yes. You can cancel anytime and keep using the Free plan for up to three properties.
