These terms set out, in general terms, the rules for using RentMerchant. They are plain boilerplate and should be reviewed and adjusted by counsel before you rely on them. By creating an account you agree to use the service in line with these terms and applicable law.
You are responsible for the information you put into the service and for keeping your login secure. Two-factor login is available and recommended. You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.
Collecting rent is free for landlords on the Free plan, which covers up to three properties. Pro is a flat subscription for unlimited properties, billed annually or month to month. An annual plan cancelled part way through is refunded prorated to the day; see the refund policy. Payment processing fees are paid by the tenant at checkout by default, and a landlord can choose to absorb them. Payments are handled by our payment processor, whose terms also apply.
Do not use RentMerchant for unlawful activity, to send spam, or to upload content you do not have the right to share. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available without interruption. We may update the service and these terms over time, and counsel should set out how notice of changes is given.
The service is provided on an as-is basis to the extent allowed by law. The specific warranty disclaimers and limits of liability should be completed by counsel to match your jurisdiction.
